THE FIRST ITALIAN OBSERVATORY FOR SPACE DEBRIS OBSERVATION

  • Design and manufacturing of first Italian observatory for space debris started in October 2006 (founded by Italian Space Agency)
  • First light in June 2007
  • Some instruments are already working, other ones will be soon available

The observatory is movable to test different sites:
  • The site can be changed in one day
  • It is transportable in a car or a minivan
